This is normal, you are just paying for less than 1 month of services, we did not discount the prices! Next month the price will go as usual. The equation is ((30 - date) / 30 * price)). So if you sign up on 10 October for $7 VPS, the charge is ((30 - 10) / 30 * 7)) = $4.7. Next due date will be 1 November for $7.
